وزیراعظم عمران خان آج قوم سے خطاب کریں گے

PM to take nation into confidence on prevalent law and order situation.

A day earlier, over a dozen law enforcement personnel were taken hostage in an attack on a police station by a banned outfit.

11 police officers were released by the outlawed organisation, says Sheikh Rasheed in an early morning video statement.

He said the prime minister, during his speech, will take the nation into confidence over the prevalent situation in Pakistan following countrywide protests by a banned outfit and the ensuing clashes. 

انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم اپنی تقریر کے دوران کالعدم تنظیم اور اس کے نتیجے میں ہونے والی جھڑپوں کے بعد ملک بھر میں ہونے والے احتجاج کے بعد پاکستان کی موجودہ صورتحال پر قوم کو اعتماد میں لیں گے۔

Speaking to the media, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said PM Imran will deliver a "historic address to the nation" today. He said the premier will address the nation between the 4:00-4:30pm time slot. 

میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیر داخلہ شیخ رشید نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم عمران آج "قوم کو تاریخی خطاب کریں گے"۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم 4: 00-4: 30 بجے شام کے وقت کے درمیان قوم سے خطاب کریں گے۔

'11 policemen held hostage released'

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed, earlier on Monday, announced that 11 policemen, who were taken hostage in Lahore by the proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) have been released after negotiations carried out by the Punjab government.

اس سے قبل پیر کے روز وزیر داخلہ شیخ رشید نے اعلان کیا تھا کہ حکومت پنجاب کے مابین مذاکرات کے بعد 11 پولیس اہلکار ، جنہیں ممنوعہ تحریک لبیک پاکستان (ٹی ایل پی) نے لاہور میں یرغمال بنا لیا تھا ، رہا کردیا گیا ہے۔
